I need some advice with a file. I am trying to make an Army Seal coaster. I downloaded the Army Seal from the CC Library and tried to set av Adv V Carve. I can’t get the part at the top of the seal to cut.
I would greatly appreciate any help or guidance.

The magenta lines are open, so can only be used with Contour toolpaths.
until they are joined together, and if need be, re-drawn so as to be closed.

Is thete a way to have a color other than magenta shiw vector issues? That is one of the colors i don’t see well.
Only the default layer shows closed & open vectors as different colors.
You could select all open vectors and move them to a new layer & set your color.
Once on the new layer, you won’t see the difference, so be careful not to mix them up. 
Actually, it’s the layers which are set to have black as the colour which will indicate openness as magenta.
Interesting, didn’t think to change the 2nd layer to black. 
Yes, interesting. I didn’t either.
Would love to see the final product or design. Do you mind sharing outcome.
