context is generating tool outlines for foam layout, but it also has support for the Gridfinity system:
the site supports both Letter and A4 sheets, and is not limited to that size — the sheet of paper simply needs to be included in the photo, tools are not limited to that space.
Looks pretty cool!
Based on my general experiences tracing images to svg, AI improvements have actually been pretty awesome over the past ~1 year (EG: not just marketing hype)
It is a bit weird that ~all of the links in the footer are broken/404 on tool trace and their other site rocket brackets.
Hopefully that’s just the founders getting their feet under them
Yeah, I actually e-mailed them about that (the broken links).
We’ll have to see how it plays out — I actually started a Github repo for “Gridfinity/2”, which will be a re-mix on a 21mm grid… (and which also can make use of the 100mm blocks which are used for Carbide 3D stuff) — no real work yet (still trying to wrap my mind around a re-write of my current project), but I’m hopeful it will be useful to folks.
