Nomad 3 probe issue

I keep trying to probe ( I configured my bit zero to v2) and the spindle keeps leaving the bit zero at the end of the stage and not going to the center of the bit zero and touching the surface, I’ve been working on this problem for a couple of hours and can’t seem to get this to work can someone help me please?

[forum questioning] When i try to probe after setting my spindle in the initial hole, it does fine but instead of landing on the surface of the bitzero itself it moves towards the outwards of the bitzero which isn’t suppose to do that and error 5 occurs. Anyone know a solution?
