I have updated the old v4 Carbide Motion ATC Post Processor (PostP) to v5a. It adds toolpath name and tool number display to Carbide Motion STATUS display line in place of the PostP code ID stamp. Vectric does provide “Carbide Motion ATC… (v8)” post-processor which includes Tool Change Prompt. Are you looking to change or customize that?

From what I gather coming to this recently there was a time when Vectric’s PP for CM wasn’t working right or didn’t handle Tool Changes properly so people started rolling their own. But you can definitely produces .gcode files CM can load and send with the default PP Vectric includes.
