That said, why do joinery this way?
A Full-blind box joint is a lot easier, and reduces the number of setups from a minimum of 3 (cut parts to length, secure all 4 boards and cut 2 corners, flip and cut other 2 corners) to a single setup for each part.
I’ve been working on a simpler method to do this sort of thing.
