It certainly doesn’t hurt, especially if it has the static dissipative property, even more so if the dust collection setup arranges to connect it to ground.
Some folks who use normal hoses have found it necessary to ground the hose setup, usually by running a bare wire through the hose to ground (being careful not to create a ground loop).
