Shapeoko XXL aftermarket touch plate

I was going to purchase a touch plate for my Shapeoko but they are out of stock.
Has anyone tried a third party touch plate?
I can get one locally but wasn’t sure if it would work.

I have OG C3D probe and just bought a third party one for testing. They should work, instructions are spot on. If you’re using Carbide Motion, make sure the probe is 25mm.

I have one coming to trial. It’s only two wires so shouldn’t be too difficult to figure out.

Here is a review I did on the one I have. It still works great.
