I’m trying to do a sign with raised letters how to i set it up in CC? Trying to make a weeding gift for a friend with family name and EST date. Any help would be greatly apparated.

so you want to cut away everything EXCEPT the letters…

just draw a box around the whole piece, and include that (and the letters) in your pocket operation

and you’ll see all except the letters getting removed

Could use some guidance on creating a carve

I’ve been using a different hobby cnc machine with it’s own software for a number of years. The attached picture is an example of a plaque that I create with this software and machine. What ever you do use the simulation to see the results. If you look in the simulation you are good to go but if the simulation does not look right keep trying.
