Spoil board replacement issue

Hello folks

I tried to find the answer to this first to no avail.

My Pro 5 has 49" long spoil boards. The Pro 5 template (attached) has 48" cuts.

Since you have only 47.75 max cut X and Y , I cant do a 48" let alone the 49" cut for the boards I have now.

That said, the best option is to just use a slat in good condition as a template and cut and drill and countersink w/ suitable tools.

If you’re dead set on this, you could cut on a diagonal as shown in:

Not sure if you are aware but, a 1.5" or 2" diameter surfacing bit will reach out and cut the entire spoilboard surface. If you are trying to surface the spoilboard with a 1/2" diameter endmill you will have a problem. Not sure if this is what you were having trouble with.
