What is the best/easiest way to trace a tool into carbide create? Like the shape of a drill or screwdriver to the correct dimensions for making tool organizers?
I like to use a flat piece of wood w/ an indentation to match a pen refill to trace the outline, then scan that and re-draw per:

I have done the trace and scan. That works but the trace tends to be jagged. Recently I just measure the tool and create in cc. You incorporate finger holes with boolean. Here is an example for a case for Bridge City Tools. They were rectangular but came out very neat.
