UnCut Surface of the Spoil Board?

Yeah y’all, First time questioner here, LOL
I’ve had my Pro XL for quite a while now, and finally needing to fully dial it in. Yeah I know, but
just been busy with client projects.
Anyway, when we flatten our spoil board for the first time or beyond, how do we deal with the
the uncut area behind the Y axis? For some it may not be important, but when your tiling , then what?

After running your surfacing program, remove the mdf slats and move them forward. Then run your program again. That’s all I could figure out to do…it’s a lot of screwing around but hopefully you won’t need to do it often. This is another reason why all of my cut-through toolpaths are zeroed on the machine surface.

I surfaced the area I could reach, then pulled one board at a time, rotated it 180 degrees, and did a pocket toolpath which removed the uncut area, cutting deep enough to make it flush w/ the aluminum T-tracks. This allowed me to just re-run a file which didn’t have a tool change command to make it go a bit more quickly.

@SLCJedi has a post showing doing the technique @cheu suggests:
