Hello,
I have just uploaded the CC V8 pro.
I have been using the V7 pro for the last year.
After dowloading CCV8 all my ‘modeling settings’ have dissapeared from ‘all’ my files in CCV7 which could mean a years worth of work having to be redone.
What did I do wrong? Has anyone else had this happen?

Files from prior versions will not load 3D components in V8. There were too many changes to the internal format for the new capabilities of 3D, and there was no good way to map existing 3D components into V8.

Thank you for your reply and I do understand and appreciate the difficulties.
I would like to convert the files from V7 to be able to use them on V8 but, loading V8 has deleted all the modeling settings from all my files. Fortunately, I have saved almost all of them on a separate memory stick but, I’m worried about loosing those too. Any advice?
I must say though, V8 is far better, I really like it.
