Wavy flag finishing issue

Having a problem finishing my wavy flags. After all the cut are done, I’m still left with jagged edges on the stripes next to the union and on all the stars. I just would like to clean up the edges of the stripes and stars. What am I missing? Using CC Pro V853.

That is just the nature of 3D finish toolpaths. It’s a zig-zag / raster cut pattern, so it’s going to leave scallops anywhere it changes direction, like on stepovers, and near vertical walls.

You can change the cut direction to 90° and that will clean up the ends of the 3 upper stripes a bit.
Using a flat end mill is still going to leave these flats in that same area at the bottom of the pocket.

We’ve been asking for different cut patterns for 3D, like the contour or pocket paths so it will follow a boundary & clean up walls.

While the focus is on smaller tooling, one can apply the same logic to angles:
