A wooden box is one-half of the categorization of furniture into two types:
- platforms
- boxes
We did a video on a basic form:
which I looked into at:
and after exploring a number of different joinery options, my current technique of choice is a full-blind miter box joint:
though I do have a fondness for the flexibility of choosing which side material will be present in for what I call a quarter-blind miter box joint:
which made possible an integrated hinge:

which probably gets joinery as far as-is possible in the current Carbide Create (I would love to either be proven wrong, or for Carbide Create to gain the last toolpath which would make a joint which I have envisioned, but been unable to reasonably implement in CAM).
