Zip files problems

When I download a file from Cutrocket (zip File) and double click it to unzip (Mac Book) I get a folder with a string of letters and numbers, followed by another file with a string of letter and numbers then a folder with a light image of the vector file and Carbite create gives an error message can open the file. I suppose the file did not actualy down load of did not unzip correctely. Any help will be appricated!

Have you tried opening them in older versions of CC? Many of the files on Cut Rocket are ole and won’t open in V8.
