CC not importing all toolpaths

Not sure if it’s me, or Carbide Create…

Today I tried to import a .c2d file into something I was working on in CC, and it came over but left behind all of my 1/8 and 1/16 toolpaths. I tried it with some other similar designs and it did the same thing each time.

Any suggestions or have others had this problem too?

Version 838 btw.

Upload the file?

Where is it being saved? Opened from?

It’s several different files it was all happening with. From the same folder on my computer. They are all files that I’ve created myself.

They were built in which version?
Old files might have to be redone

I guess. They may have been built in the old version but from a software perspective that doesn’t make any sense on why it wouldn’t work. It’s still just g codes…… regardless it’s annoying.

Here is a previous discussion on this:

Confirmed that no, they were all from the same version of CC. They were built on the old version but worked on and resaved in the new one.

Some more info for those who might be able to fix the program for the next version.

All of my tool paths happened to be Pockets in these imported files.

All of the tool paths imported properly EXCEPT all 1/8” and 1/16” tool paths. Furthermore for problem solving, I suspect that it might be that all of those were DUPLICATE tool paths created from the 1/4 original paths.

Given all of that it’s apparent that the coding for importing is broken. Please try to fix this as it’s incredibly time consuming and increases potential for errors when having to recreate every tool path that was a duplicate.

Hope that helps the software staff.
