Expert suggestion needed for making longboard deck

Hi all, Is there any expert who have ever made a longboard deck? I have a Maple Longboard which is broken from center now I want to make a new deck. Is there ay one who can teach me how longboards are made? I want to make a deck same as maple longboards. Suggest me a wood which is best for longboards. Thanks
