How do I use Carbide Create to created a tiled toolpath

I want to cut dog holes in a piece of MDF that is 24" x 60" on my Shapeoko 5 Pro 4x4. Does anyone know how I would go about achieving this with the free version of Carbide Create, and then by using Carbide Motion?

From what I’ve read you have to tile, but I am not sure where to start to do this.

Search the forum for “tiling”, plenty of threads about it. C3D has videos you can reference as well. It’s better for you work thru the examples and then ask for help if you need it.

I believe the tiling function is only available in CC Pro

Just as an example, take the total length of 60 inches and divide that by 5 to get 5 12" tiles. Now you can draw up a single tile and cut it 5 times by moving your work piece 4 times after cutting the first tile.
If you want 1/2" holes spaced 2" apart on centers you would set up your first tile like this:

Draw your first hole and set the radius:

Use the linear array tool to make the rest of the holes on 2" centers:

Center the holes as a group on the tile using Align Centers:

Define a tool path pocketing operation for the holes:

Load your board and make an alignment mark on one of the corners and on the spoil board next to the corner mark. Make a second mark in the direction of the next tile 12" from the first mark.

Run the tool path for the first tile. When finished slide the board so the second mark aligns with the mark on the spoil board. Run the tool path again. Mark a third mark for the next tile and move the board again.
