Introducing the Carbide 3D Print Library

I’ve been working on a smoke extractor attachment for my HDM. I made one in the past but it was tedious to install. This one just snaps in place of the stock dust collector.

It’s a prototype, in two pieces ‘cause it wouldn’t fit on my trusty PrusaMk3S++.

I picked up a BambuLabs H2D a few days ago (feel like a traitor!) but it’s a pretty nice piece of kit as the Brits like to say.

Anyway, the smoke sucker will fit on the build plate diagonally so, one piece. Once I finalize the design I’ll print one up and share.

these are great! came across this post while searching for ones to use for my drawer. Have you posted these files anywhere? would you be willing to share what you have done?
many thanks!

Sorry it took so long, been very busy lately.

I just uploaded all files to Printables: printables.com/model/1426143

It includes (will add more):

  • Bit Holder and Storage Bin (Fusion file included to modify to your needs).
  • Curent Project Tray.

That’s it for now, let me know if you need anything else!

@FarOutRide

Really nice setup for storage, appreciate you making this available to everyone. Time to dry some filament!

For those folks using the Kreg frame for the CNC work table, I designed a “holster” for my collet wrenches so I could keep them handy for tool changes. I’m using 3 60x10x3mm N52 neodymium magnets to attach the holster to the frame. I initially tried to use just a pair of magnets on the face, but found even with very strong magnets the holster had a tendency to slide down a bit. The magnet on the bottom keeps it very solid (but still removable).

That’s amazing, nice work .

While not listed in the official library, @wmoy did:

which for the Nomad folks, is well-worth keeping in mind.

Welp, after falling down the CNC vortex I tripped and fell down the 3D printing hole as well. Got the newest Bambu P2S and wanted to say thanks for making this print library available. I have printed a couple of things so far and they have been flawless and very easy to use. Just another reason I am happy with my decision to go with this company for my CNC purchase to begin with.
