They are just the standard basic wine boxes you can get at uline in bulk (thin pine ply). Friend had some boxes lying around and asked me if I could think of something to do with them :).

Stiring the sourdough dough. I wondered the same thing at first.
Since you are not the chief cook and bottle washer I saw the answer to @Ed.E, ask if it is for stirring the flour and other dry ingredients or if it is actually used for the wet dough.
The chief cook and sign finisher said she uses it for both wet and dry. She said it’s similar to a danish whisk (whatever that is).

A few more signs I made. All using MDF. Tried my hand at layered signs this time as opposed to just carving. Inspired by Brad’s Custom Signs YouTube channel. The LA kings crown is an epoxy resin inlay. The small letters on the top if the school sign were 3D printed. I just couldn’t get the tool paths right to get me what I wanted because the letters were so small.
Beautifully done! Are there multiple layers of mdf glued to each other? Or one layer with multiple levels of carves?
Beautiful! I wholeheartedly agree… of all the tools in my shop, my 5 pro is the best… and also the most used tool.

Layers are separate pieces I glued on top of each other. I used a very shallow pocket (.015”) on the receiving layer to help me with placement.
Second attempt at a topo carve. I put 3 coats of PolyAcrylic urethane on the MDF.
It’s a bit shiny, but not candy. You can look at it in more angles and still see the depth.
It should paint easier than the last one.
I made a matching 2D topo etch of the same model.
It’s interesting when there are side by side for comparison.
Both turned our great! The etching looks very detailed.
