In the library I’m trying to use the military images. I can’t group all the lines together, such as the eagle feathers. Those stay purple whe i try to group them. Just wondering if anyone has been able to use those. Please help. Thank you.

Many of the images in the Elements library have open/unclosed/unjoined (indicated by being magenta) lines.

Such lines may only be used with No Offset Contour toolpaths with small tooling so as to cut the details.

Some of them have been fixed in various discussions here on the forums.

If you’ll let us know which ones you are curious about we can check and see.

If one has a design idea one wants to make, usually it can be shown / mocked up as a pixel image, and put together using some basic elements. Does anybody have a United Sates Navy logo that they have used to cut? I have downloaded 3 files off the internet and tried to set it up for a vcarve, and every file wants it to cut around the letters and the rope edge, etc., instead of vcarving the actual letters, rope, eagle, etc. Either I am really tired and I’m not doing something simple I’ve done on everything else, or I can’r find the right file. I’ve seen several requests for military emblems or help for problems with them on the boards. Here is a site listed our small Kokomo CNC Group’s resources list. Since they have free SAMPLE downloads at that site I’m sure there is a charge for the files you need to download, but that is where our members obtain their emblem files. http://www.cncmilitaryemblems.com/index.html

As @WillAdams said some of the vectors are open. You can go in and use the node edit tool to close them up. That is tedious and time consuming. If you decide to fix the vectors the zoom feature is your friend.

The problem I have is I am partially color blind. I see colors but colors that are close to the same shade look alike to me. So Red and Magenta look the same color. It might also just be my man sight. If I see the color pink a woman would say no that is fushia.
